Kenneth Stack Obituary
MENIFEE/HEMET WE WILL MISS HIM EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY KENNETH STACK Ken went peacefully home to the Lord on September 18, 2009 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in 1945 in Oak Park, Illinois and had a joy-filled childhood, living with his parents & sister Cheryl in the same neighborhood as both sets of grandparents, aunts uncles and cousins. His beloved Aunt Millie (Uridil) still lives there. Ken received his BS from Illinois Institute of Technology in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. He was very active & lived at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house. He was also a member of Pi Tau Sigma. He went to USC for his MS in Bio-medicine and later received a MA in business from Claremont Graduate School. Although he began his career in aerospace, by the early 70's his interest shifted to the medical device field. He was involved in the first permanent cardiac pacemaker & holds a patent (owned by AHS) for a venous pressure monitor. He most recently was a Vice-President for Surgicount Medical in Temecula. They were more than gracious during his battle with cancer. He was a lover of learning & also had credentials for tax preparation & financial planning which was never a career but something he enjoyed doing in his "spare" time. In 1968 he was the Midwest Self-Defense Champion and also played on many baseball & hockey teams. He enjoyed golf as well. Kenneth's favorite sports teams were, Bears, Cubs and Ducks. These are just some of the things he did, but say nothing about who he was or what was important to him. His most cherished title was father, husband, grandfather and friend. He was a wonderful brother, uncle, son-in-law & nephew. He was a man of high integrity who always thought the best of everyone. Most importantly he was a man with a heart for God. His greatest treasure was his deep & personal relationship with God through His son Jesus Christ. Ken is survived by his wife Linda, son Matthew (Angie) Sarah & Sam Stack, daughter Robin (Tim) Nathan & Ethan Seeley, son Greg (Cherish) Stack and their anticipated daughter. He is also survived by his sister Cheryl (Dennis) Krauss, Derek (Trudy) & Scott. Memorial Services will be at Canyon Lake Community Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009, followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, Ken desired that donations be made to: Far Reaching Ministries 40335 Winchester Road, St E., PMB 137, Temecula, California 92591 wwwfrmusa.org
