Laura Beebower Obituary

LAURA LEE BEEBOWER passed away peacefully on November 11, 2016, at the age of 83. She was born on June 13, 1933 in Santa Barbara California, moved to Chino in 1943, and graduated from Chino High School in 1951. During that time she served as president of Girl's Athletic Association. Laura was involved in The El Rancho Elementary PTA, Chino Young Homemakers, Chino Home's Tour which supported Cystic Fibrosis, and the Chino Historical Society. She retired from Allied Signal in 1998. When she wasn't working or volunteering, Laura enjoyed traveling with friends, painting to her heart's content, playing cards with friends, and holding her annual Camp Gigi with her grandchildren. Laura was preceded in death by her son Russell Beebower and granddaughter Nicole Beebower. She is survived by her children: Vivian Lee, Deana Koch, and Roger Beebower; grandchildren: David, Joel and Jared Wigginton, Matthew and Mark Thompson, Katharyne Eames, Nina Beebower and Taylor Tidwell. Services will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona, Ca., Thursday, November 17, at 9:00 AM. Graveside services will follow immediately at Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery in Corona, Ca. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
