Lillian Tasch Obituary

Lillian was born in Covington, KY. She spent her early years in the Walnut Hills area of Cincinnati, OH. Known by many as Eydie, she attended St. Francis de Sales Grade School in Cincinnati, OH and received her high school diploma from St. Mary High School in the Hyde Park area of Cincinnati. She was involved in two theatre groups, the "Kings Men" of Porcell High School and Bellermine Players, an independent theatre group in Cincinnati, OH. She married George J. Tasch III on August 1, 1964 in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Cincinnati, OH. She and her husband had a short honeymoon at Cumberland Falls, KY and visited George's relatives in Somerset, KY, Cam and Opal Howard, Lester and Etta Howard and their daughter, Karen. They moved to Glendora, CA and stayed there until they purchased a home in Glendora, CA. The family moved to Riverside, CA in 1975 and are currently in the same home. She is the mother of four children, Heidi, George IV, Kristin and George Alexander. Eydie worked in the Colton Unified School District for many years. She was employed by B. Dalton Book Sellers in the Riverside Plaza. She was a docent at Heritage House and the Mission Inn. She was a teacher at Riverside Children's Theatre from 1982 to 2016. She directed a play at that time for the RCT. She was involved in tours of the town with Carol Stottlebacher. Eydie loved to read, sing and enjoyed every day of being able to help folks along the way, especially her children and students. She attended Cal State San Bernardino with just a few units for her degree in childcare related subjects. She was a past president of Riverside Art Alliance. Amazing friends and family, prayers are with them today as they lay their mother to rest, a very sad day. A very loving kind talented mother one of a kind d I just God right now for the mother he gave you what a blessing what a miracle. With tears. Until we meet again. In paradise, may her memory be a blessing always. Aaron Brooks.
