HEMET NATIVIDAD(NADINE) ARMONIO GENGLER Natividad (Nadine) Armonio Gengler, age 81, a resident of Hemet, California for the past 5 years and of San Diego for 25 years prior, passed away in the presence of the Lord, September 14, 2010. She was born September 6, 1929, in Iloilo, Panay, Republic of the Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 1957. She became a United States citizen in 1970 and was very proud of her work as a Red Cross nurse. She married Kenneth Gengler in 1964 and followed and supported him at various Naval Stations, ships and submarines throughout his career. She served in many roles, including President of the Navy Wives Club, Cub Scout Den Mother and Team Mother for various little league ball teams. A lifelong Catholic, she was very active in all her parishes. She was devoted to the Rosary and a member of the Blue Army for many years. She enjoyed fishing, mah-jong and growing magnificent roses that were always appreciated by the neighborhood. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and an infant daughter. She was a devoted Wife and Mother and is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Adriane and her husband, Geoff; son, Michael and his wife, Bridget and five grandchildren, Ryan, Christian, Savanna, Grace and Peter. Visitation is Monday, September 20, 2010, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at the Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California. Funeral Mass is Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 780 S. State St., Hemet, California. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, September 23, 2010, at 10:00 AM, at Our Mother of Confidence Catholic Church, 3131 Governor Dr, San Diego, California. Burial is at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, California. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA.
