Although I only knew Penny a short amount of time, she made a huge impact on me. I worked with her for about a year at Mountain West Financial and it was a sheer pleasure. One awesome memory I have is when she beat me at a hoola-hoop contest at work; it was in front of all the other employees!

To the Madsen & Gayle Family,
I'm deeply sadden for your loss of a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. I had the pleasure of working with Penny for almost 6 years and what a funny six they were. I will miss the witty woman who could always make someone laugh no matter how bad their day was. Penny you will be deeply missed and will be treasured in everyone's hearts forever that were graced with your presence.

Penny was a very special person to me. I worked in very close quarters with her for two years, so there wasn't a whole lot I didn't know about Penny. She would share funny stories about her neighbors, and about Jim,Brittany and Austin. What I learned most from Penny in those two years was how to be a great mom. When I was pregnant, she gave me endless hours of motherly advice. And, in Penny fashion, she was the first person to call after my son was born. They were literally cutting the ambilical cord as the phone rang! She was more like a big sister than she was my supervisor...and that is what made Penny so special to me. Thank you Penny.

Penny was an amazing person and a great boss and friend. She taught me everything I know about funding and drawing loan documents and I will always treasure that. I will never forget you Penny, Thanks for all the great memories. Britney and Austin you were blessed with a wonderful Mother and I am so sorry that she was taken from you so early in your lives, but I hope you can take comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering and know that she will always be with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you as well Jim. Rest in Peace Penny!
