Phyllis Widerstrom Obituary

PHYLLIS KATHLEEN WIDERSTROM Passed peacefully on Sept. 15, 2008 after a year of declining health. Born Dec. 19, 1924 to Harvey and Dorothy Bruce in Hemet, CA. Worked at March AFB from 1945 to 1957. Married to Lloyd Widerstrom from 1957-1959. Moved back to Riverside in 1961 with daughter Vicki. Bowled every Wed. night at Tava Lanes. Retired from March AFB in 1981 after 30+ years. Active at Arlington UMC since 1970. Active at the Goeske Center until 2003. Survived by Vicki Reese, son-in-law Joe, grandchildren Harrison and Rebecca, of Lake Forest and siblings Clifford Bruce of Hemet, Jean Steffe of Illinois and Joyce Mount of Arizona. All who knew her will carry fond memories forever.
