Robert E. Anderson

ROBERT (BOB) E. ANDERSON Bob was born in Glendale, California in June of 1928 and graduated from Glendale High School. Bob served proudly and honorably in the United States Navy from 1946 to 1948. In 1950 he graduated from Riverside Community College where he sang the lead role in "Boris Gudinoff" and was a member of the Junior Lions Club. After college, Bob was active in the real estate and title industry. He was later hired by Bank of America where he was instrumental in successfully marketing and promoting the new VISA bankcard. He retired from B of A in 1990. Bob continued to enjoy music throughout his life and was an avid reader. He liked to travel and spend time with family and friends around a table filled with delicious meals prepared by his wife. He always enjoyed good food, good company, and a fine bottle of wine. What he cherished most in life was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Zina; his three sons, Robert Eugene Jr. and wife Rosemarie of Riverside, D. Joseph and his wife Denise of Moreno Valley, Thomas Christian and wife Janel of Redlands; his daughter, Suzanne Marie and husband Joe Fiandaca of Riverside; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and many friends. He will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. All who care to attend are invited to this service.
