Steven Judson Obituary
Age 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in Lake Elsinore. He was born July 22, 1951, in Long Beach, CA, to the late Richard (Dick) and Barbara (Bobbie) Judson. He was the middle child of three, his younger brother Kenny preceded him in his death and he leaves behind his older brother Michael.
He graduated from Dominguez High School in 1969. He joined the CA Army National Guard in December of 1969, retired in May 1992. He started working for GTE as a garage helper on July 6, 1970 and worked his way up to database programming and on to working as an engineer. When retirement came on July 29, 2007 it was no longer GTE but Verizon.
Steve loved to spend time with his family, reading his bible and having time with the brothers from church. He had a place in everyone's heart no matter how long you knew him. He was a loving and caring man and very devoted to his children, grandchildren and friends, always putting others before himself.
Steve leaves behind his children, Stephanie Reush, Julie Gosnell and Ryan Judson along with his grandchildren, Isaiah, Daniel, Allison and Dynna. He also leaves behind his sons-in-law Mike and CJ along with daughter--in-law Stephanie, and a host of many relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA, 92518, on October 19, 2017 at 2PM, with celebration of life to follow.

My heart is so saddened. I just learned of Steve's passing. We were friends as teenagers with many fond memories. We reconnected a couple of years ago and I am so thankful that was possible. He loved his children, grandchildren and family members to the utmost. He was so proud of them all. Steve was the most kind, respectful and caring individual. Even when we were kids! I will sincerely miss our phone calls together, keeping track of each other. RIP my dear friend❤

I am so grateful for the love and kindness that he has always shown me. I will never forget the night he told me I was not just a daughter-in-law, but one of his own children. He was a truly wonderful man filled with warmth, compassion and had a heart for encouraging and welcoming others into his life. He was the best dad and grandfather! I love you and will miss you dearly Dad! I'm glad you're finally home :)
