Wayne Wayne B. Lavell

LAVELL, WAYNE B. Wayne B. Lavell, 92, died March 6, 2005 at Ramona Manor Convalescent Hospital in Hemet, CA. He was born December 13, 1912 at Alcona, KS to James T. and Elizabeth M. (Young) Lavell. On June 20, 1937, he married Hazel I. Mann at Atwood, KS. They lived in California for many years where he was employed in the aircraft industry. He was a truck driver for a dairy in Artesia, CA for 12 years prior to moving to Benkelman, NB in 1974. He moved to Hemet, CA in 1995 to be close to his son and daughter-in-law. Preceding him in death were his wife; parents; one daughter, Beverly; three brothers, Tim, Dale and Minor; three sisters; Hazel, Gertrude and Winnie. Survivors include a son Larry and wife, Mary, of Hemet, CA; four grandchildren, Todd Lavell of Mission Viejo, CA; Mark & wife, Victoria Lavell of Pacifica, CA; Fred Knilans of Tustin, CA; Cassie Knilans of Hemet, CA and three great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Austin Lavell and Amanda Castillo. Private Inurnment was March 28, 2005 in Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palo Verdes, CA. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet handled the arrangements.
