Albert Angeloni Obituary
ANGELONI, ALBERT 85 - of Hopewell Twp. died peacefully Saturday at his home. Born in Trenton; Mr. Angeloni was a life long Trenton, Ewing Twp. and Hopewell Twp. resident. He was in the restaurant business for over 60 years. He is currently the owner of Angeloni II Restaurant in Atlantic City and he recently retired in October, 2008 after 18 years as proprietor of Angeloni's Cedar Gardens on Route 33 in Hamilton Twp. Previously, Al owned, operated and built Angeloni's Catering on Whitehorse Avenue for over 20 years. In addition, he owned, from 1955 to 1975 the Villa Capri Restaurant in Trenton and Al's Tavern on North Clinton Avenue, East Trenton from 1950 thur 1960's. During the late 1940's, Al owned several Trenton area gas stations. He was a member of many different Restaurant and licensed beverage associations. Son of the late Sabatino and Angelina Dileo Angeloni. Husband of the late Olga Yuzwa Angeloni. Brother of the late Arnold Angeloni; Edith Angeloni; Josephine Carmignani and Mary (Dolly) DeBronzo. Father-in-law of the late Mark Michalak. He is survived by two sons and one daughter in law: Albert "Sam" and Theresa Angeloni of Columbus; Alan Angeloni of Atlantic city; two daughters: Lydia Michalak of Ewing Twp. and Nancy Angeloni of Hopewell Twp.; five grandchildren: Nicole and her husband John Bucci; Albert S. Angeloni III; Cynthia H. Michalak; Alan Michael Angeloni and Gianna Rae Angeloni; two brothers and one sister in law: Dominic Angeloni of Ewing Twp.; and John and Flora Angeloni of Hamilton Twp., his sister Catherine Calisti of Hamilton Twp. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8:45am from the WINOWICZ FUNERAL HOME: 308 Adeline at Beatty Street, Trenton, NJ. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity with Rev. Fr. Ivan Lamar officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Parish Cemetery; Hamilton Twp. Calling hours will be Tuesday evening from 5:00pm to 8:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers; memorial donations are to be made to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 824 Adeline Street, Trenton, NJ 08610
