Adams, Alice (Gully), - 69, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her life, husband Jonas Adams, and sister Joy Blackwood on May 3, 2021. Alice was born in Dothan Alabama to the late Ivadell and Sam Gully. Alice was the fourth of six children: Mike Gully, the late Sam Gully, the late Larry Gully, Allene Seifried, and Joy Blackwood. Alice began dating Jonas at age sixteen and was happily married for 46 years. Alice was a loving and devoted mother to three sons: Randy and wife Dawn, Michael, and wife Kristin and Scott Adams. She treasured and loved deeply her grandchildren: Lily, Randolph, Sophia, Emilia, Adelyn, and Isabella. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Alice was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Atlantic Cape Community College, and Stockton State College. She worked as an aide and then 3rd grade teacher in the Egg Harbor Township School System. Alice loved teaching and was dedicated to the academic and emotional well-being of each child. She brought the joy of learning and fun into her classroom every day winning Teacher of the Year in 2010. She was gracious, selfless, caring, never judging, always serving, always willing, always loving. The world would be a better place if more people were like Alice. Alice loved to watch birds, garden, and travel. She loved her dogs Mama Chia and Stella, and cat Patches. A viewing will be held at Adams Perfect Funeral Home in Northfield on Tuesday, May 11 from 12-2pm with a service following at 2pm.
