ANDREW AMEDIO Obituary

AMEDIO, ANDREW C. "HENRY" 86 - of Hammonton passed away Tuesday in AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. He worked for several different clothing factories in Hammonton. Mr. Amedio also worked at Lake Lenape Park in Mays Landing and Resorts in Atlantic City as a clam opener. Mr. Amedio was a member of St. Joseph Wildcatters for over 50 years. He was awarded the "Fidelis Award" by the Wildcatters for being such a great supporter. Mr. Amedio is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Amedio, two daughters, Patricia Ann Haines and her husband George of Cape May; Kathleen Mary Smick and her husband Kevin of Fort Worth, TX, one brother, Anthony Amedio of Hammonton, his grand-children, Matthew Smick ( Lindsey); Marc Smick, Jason Haines (Alison); Jenn Haines and several great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 10:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:30am - 10:30am. Burial will follow in Germania Cemetery. Henry, I am sorry I missed your services. As a fellow member of the "Fidelis Award" club I should have been there but more importantly because you were a good friend for more than 40 years. Rest in peace. I will carry on the tradition until we met again.
