Anna Dobin

DOBIN, ANNA (nee Caterina), 88 - of Vineland passed away peacefully at Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. Born in Vineland, she graduated from Sacred Heart High School class of 1935. Anna then moved to Salem with her husband Anthony, and operated Dobin Ford Agency in Salem and a N.A.P.A. automotive parts business. She was president of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Salem Woman's Club and St. Mary's School. Anna then moved to Cherry Hill with her husband and owned and operated the Cherry Hill Gift Shop a wholesale gift business, and other hotel gift shops in Cherry Hill and Philadelphia. Upon her retirement, she returned to Vineland and was a member of the Catholic Daughters and served as a volunteer for the Red Cross for many years. Anna also enjoyed trips to the casinos. She is survived by sister-in-law, Mamie Caterina, Vineland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Florence Kalymun, Port Carbon PA; sister-in-law, Anna Yakobosky, Port Carbon PA; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband in 2005: Anthony J. Dobin, predeceased son: Anthony Dobin Jr., predeceased parents: Alex and Anna (Zeto) Caterina, predeceased brothers: Louis, Joseph, Nicholas, Frank, Alec and Thomas Caterina, predeceased sisters: Mary DeFalco, Angelina Salerno, Kathryn Yore, Emily Bracco and Antoinette Martinelli. A Church Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Church, Landis Ave., Vineland Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
