Anthony Alosi Obituary
Anthony was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School class of 1964. Anthony then joined the military and bravely served his country in the U.S. Army. After his discharge he became a welder and eventually owned and operated his own welding company, Alco Welding for five years. Anthony then went into the gaming industry in Atlantic City, working as a dealer for craps and blackjack for the Trump Marina and the Taj Mahal Casinos, eventually becoming a floor person. Anthony's last work place was Ocean Casino where he also worked the game tables as a floor person. Anthony enjoyed fishing and was well known for racing his 1972 Chevelle that he owned at Atco Raceway.
Anthony will be missed and fondly remembered by his wife; Janet B. Alosi, daughters; Michelle (John) Stone, Gina Alosi, sons; Anthony Alosi, Jr., Mark (Nancy) Alosi, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister Teresa "Terri" (Joe) McFerran, and niece Kelly Mai McFerran. In addition to his parents Anthony was predeceased by a brother William Alosi.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Anthony's Life Celebration Memorial Service on Friday March 17, 2023 at 11:00am at Keates-Plum Funeral Home, 3112 West Brigantine Ave., Brigantine, NJ 08203. A visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home from 9:00am until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anthony's memory to the Humane Society of Atlantic County, 1401 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
