Folis, Antoinette (Toni) S., - 93, of Ventnor City, passed away at home on Sunday, November 20, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born 1929 in Atlantic City to Giuseppe and Carmela Scuncio, Toni retired from N.J. Bell in 1982 as a Chief Operator after 40 years of service. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Joe, brother Marc Scuncio, sister Anne Dantro and son-in-law William Conover. She is survived by her son Joe, daughters Denise and Michele, granddaughter Alexandra, sister RoseMary Merendino, daughter-in-law Melissa, son-in-law Joe, and many nieces and nephews. Toni loved sitting on her porch greeting countless visitors and passers-by. All knew her and would enjoy her daily company. Toni was passionate about Italian traditions and time-honored cuisine. She took great pride in passing those customs onto her children and grandchild. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 28th from 9:30AM – 11:00AM, with Mass to follow at 11AM, at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 10 N. Mississippi Ave., Atlantic City. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
