Carole Patterson Obituary

PATTERSON, CAROLE ANN, 63 - of Rio Grande, died on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House. Born in Madison, WI, Carole has lived here for the past year coming from Wilmington, DE. She had retired in 2007 as a Research Biologist in the Agricultural Products Division of DuPont, was an active volunteer for the Volunteers in Medicine, an avid reader whom people will best remember her as a kind, gentle, strong willed woman who enjoyed living a simple life here at the shore. She was preceded in death by her mother Sarah Quay in February 2008. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Luff of Rio Grande, her brother Charles Patterson of Newtown Square, PA, her sister Diane Patterson of Wilmington, DE and her two nephews; Charles "Kip" and Luke. A private memorial life celebration will take place at a later date.
