Caroline Nunnally departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was born to James and Mabel Ingram on April 1, 1937, in Dillon, SC. The family relocated to Atlantic City, NJ, in 1941. She attended and graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1955. Caroline was a woman of faith and loved family whether you were blood relative, faith relative or neither, her compassion and love for all was the same.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mabel Ingram; brother, James Ingram; and daughter, Lori Coe.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Edward Nunnally; siblings, Shirley Jordan and Lorraine Hawkins; five children, Valerie Ridley (Maurice), Garnet Lamont Fauntleroy (Ellen), Marinda Nunnally, Leslie Taylor (Robert), and Tracy Williams; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 353 S. New Road, Pleasantville, where friends may call from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville. Condolences may be left for the family at www.jenningsfuneralhome.net.
