COUCHOUD, CATHERINE ANN (NEE EBERLE) 62 - of Egg Harbor Township. Mom woke up in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 2, 2011. Cathie was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 24, 1948 and lived there until she moved to New Jersey when she was ten years old. Cathie devoted her life to her husband, daughters, her brother, sisters, nieces, their families and her closest friends. Cathie and her husband, Billy, were very active members of Scullville Bible Church. She worked and volunteered at Shore Memorial Hospital for over 20 years, and enjoyed vacationing with family in Myrtle Beach and Florida. She lovingly leaves behind two daughters, Shannon (Bill) Oberman, Corie Taylor, her sister in law, Denise Taran, her brothers Harry (Maryanne) Eberle, Bill White, and Joseph Barbi. Her grandchildren Tommy Taylor, Billy, Emily and A.J. Oberman. Her precious nieces Jenna (Tony) Bylone and Leah (Chris) Jones. Her cherished friends, Al and Sandy Fry, Ray and Dottie Benson and Charlie and Jane Sear. She is predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eberle and her beloved husband, Billy. Following Cathie's wishes, we will be having a private burial service at the convenience of the family. However we would like to invite you to a celebration of her life on Saturday, April 9, 2011, beginning at 11 am at Shore Fellowship, located at 1049 Ocean Heights Avenue, EHT, NJ. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers or fruit baskets, donations can be sent to Atlantic Christian School, Salem County Christian Academy or Scullville Bible Church. Cathy will always be a a ray of sunshine. Her smile could light up the room. I have always had a deep respect for your mom. My only regret is that I moved away several years ago and didn't keep close contact ...my lost. She is in G-ds house now where she belongs.

Words can't express the deep meaning of our friendship. Although our contact was limited in the past years, when we would bump into each other it was like no time had passed. I will always treasure our girlhood memories. We had so many dreams, lots of them came true. Know that she is with her maker and she will always be smiling down at you. Shannon, Corie and Family,
Our Mothers where friends in their younger years and she is also my namesake, for I was born on her birthday. As a kid every Monday night she would pick my brother and I up and take us to Awana. Cherished memories!
I'm very sorry to hear of her passing and my prayers are with you. She will always have a special place in my heart.

Your Mother always had a smile, no matter how much pain she was in.
She lived her life as a servant of God and it showed.
Sorry for your loss.

I had worked with Cathy years ago at Shore Memorial. ...always smiling ... Cathy hid so much of what she was going through. She exemplified strength. We had not seen one another for years...then as fate would have it ...she came to where I was working. It was so wonderful to see her again! I was privlidged to see her often after that. As always, Cathy's smile hid her suffering. She never complained... a true example of strength. She spoke often of her wonderful children and grandchildren and how much she loved them.
Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers,
Ann Grosso
