Quinlan, Catherine D., - 90, of Brigantine, passed away on Wednesday January 6, 2021. Catherine was born in Atlantic City to the late Nicholas and Fanny (Burdumy) Droboniku. She was a graduate of Stockton University. She was formerly employed as an office manager at Pantry Pride Food Stores. Catherine was an assistant Manager at Guarantee Bank/National Westminster Bank and then became a Senior Customer Service Representative at Commerce/TD Bank in Brigantine until her retirement. Catherine was very active in the Brigantine Community. She could be seen at many events in the city. She has 28 years of service with the Brigantine Lions Club and prior to joining the Lions, she was a member of the Brigantine Lioness' Club. She was very active with the Lioness organization prior to the merging of the two clubs. Catherine was also a member of the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce where she served as Treasurer for over 30 years. She was also a Past President and Treasurer of the Brigantine PTA for over 35 years. Catherine was also active for over 20 years with the Girl Scouts and the True Spirit Coalition Food Pantry. Catherine was awarded Person of the Year by the City of Brigantine in 1969 and the Pat Campitelli Lodge Sons of Italy Person of the Year in 2008. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Charles Quinlan. Catherine is survived by her son Joseph P. Quinlan (Karol) and her daughter Katherine (Katie) Quinlan. She is also survived by her grandchildren Juan Jose, Evelyn, Vivian, Joseph and Tiffany, her sister Jane Morong, her son-in-law Silvario Martinez and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her daughter Colleen Quinlan Martinez. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Catherine's Life Celebration and visitation on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 9:30 to 10:45AM at St. Thomas Church, 331 8Th Street South, Brigantine. Lions Club Eulogy will be prior to Catherine's Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Social distancing and masks are required. Interment will be private. What a GREAT Lady! I spent many days with her and Mr. Quinlan as a child and have very fond memories of them. She and my mother were friends for many years. She will be missed.

Aunt Katherine as she was known to me was a wonderful person. Sister to my mom Jane or baby Jane as she was called. We visited Atlantic City as far back as my memory allows. Early '60s to grandmom's store. All of my memory's, all of them where amazing and fun. Dinners at her house and the food, wow! We love Aunt Katherine and even though we cannot travel at this time to show our respect, we are their in spirit and prayer! I've attached a photo of my last visit with her. We had a great time as always talking about "everything". God bless you Aunt Katherine!!!!

Mrs. Quinlan was a great friend to the Raye family for many years. She worked with my mother, Billie Raye, on countless PTA projects to benefit young people in Brigantine. She was an extremely hard worker who really cared about making Brigantine a better place to live. My sisters, Tammi and Lysa, join me in offering our condolences to your family.

I was saddened to read today of Catherine's passing. I have so many fond memories from when I was principal of the Brigantine North Middle School. Catherine helped out in so many ways - luncheons, concerts, fund raising activities and especially the 6th grade Stokes trip fundraiser. She was so willing to help and always with a beautiful smile! She was a great lady who will be missed!!
