Quinlan, Catherine D., - 90, of Brigantine, passed away on Wednesday January 6, 2021. Catherine was born in Atlantic City to the late Nicholas and Fanny (Burdumy) Droboniku. She was a graduate of Stockton University. She was formerly employed as an office manager at Pantry Pride Food Stores. Catherine was an assistant Manager at Guarantee Bank/National Westminster Bank and then became a Senior Customer Service Representative at Commerce/TD Bank in Brigantine until her retirement. Catherine was very active in the Brigantine Community. She could be seen at many events in the city. She has 28 years of service with the Brigantine Lions Club and prior to joining the Lions, she was a member of the Brigantine Lioness' Club. She was very active with the Lioness organization prior to the merging of the two clubs. Catherine was also a member of the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce where she served as Treasurer for over 30 years. She was also a Past President and Treasurer of the Brigantine PTA for over 35 years. Catherine was also active for over 20 years with the Girl Scouts and the True Spirit Coalition Food Pantry. Catherine was awarded Person of the Year by the City of Brigantine in 1969 and the Pat Campitelli Lodge Sons of Italy Person of the Year in 2008. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Charles Quinlan. Catherine is survived by her son Joseph P. Quinlan (Karol) and her daughter Katherine (Katie) Quinlan. She is also survived by her grandchildren Juan Jose, Evelyn, Vivian, Joseph and Tiffany, her sister Jane Morong, her son-in-law Silvario Martinez and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her daughter Colleen Quinlan Martinez. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Catherine's Life Celebration and visitation on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 9:30 to 10:45AM at St. Thomas Church, 331 8Th Street South, Brigantine. Lions Club Eulogy will be prior to Catherine's Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Social distancing and masks are required. Interment will be private.
