A quiet, gentle man, Curt would ask "How are you" not as a pleasantry but as a genuine concern...he really cared about people. I know he will rest at peace, and be sorely missed. God bless you, friend.

I was shocked to learn of Curt's passing. Curt made my original reservation at the Flagship for April 26-28th. When I called to change my reservation to the following week, May 3-5, Curt was so understanding and very supportive. On May 3rd, while staying at the Flagship, I encountered a situation regarding the gifts I received. Since Curt was so kind to me, I did not hesitate to call him. I got his voicemail so I left him a message. After several hours I thought it was strange that he had not returned my telephone call so I called back and spoke with the receptionist who delivered the sad news. I was totally shocked. Although I had not met Curt in person, my telephone conversations with him made me feel so comfortable and gave me a sense of assurance that he truly did care. I was drawn to his warm spirit. He had the characteristics of an individual that should have been in the hospitality industry. He was definitely in the right line of work. He demonstarated such strong people skills. May God continue to Bless and keep his family during this difficult time. And always remember, to be absent from the body is to be present with our LORD. Rest in Peace Curt, I will never forget you.

Curt was one of the most remarkable people I have ever known. His knowledge and wit was amazing. We worked together so long that when our eyes "met" whether in a work meeting or in casual passing....we knew what the other was thinking. He had remarkable insight and was a great listener. Not only was he wise, but he was also hilarious! Curt, there is a void in my life that only a friend like you could fill. My thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family that he dearly loved. Hearing this news saddened me a great deal. One thing I will never forget hearing is "It's Jump with two p's" as he was booking reservations next to me. I send my deepest condolences to his family.

We were shocked and saddened. We are quite seperated by miles, but always enjoyed seeing Curt and his family on the Boardwalk.

What I will miss most about Curt is his clever sence of humor. His interest in history and current events and his warmth. Condolences to his friend, family, and co- workers. Espescially those who spent time with him daily. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Curt was like a big brother to me. We have worked together for many years. Curt has taught me so much about history and helped me to see life in a different perspective. I will miss him dearly, his humor, his wisdom, nights out dancing, and his love for cats. I will truly miss him. Godspeed Curtis.

Curt...we spent a lot of time together. As I got to know you...I realized what a great sense of humor you had. When I needed to laugh....I would come right to your desk and sit and talk to you for a few minutes. It always worked. Don't know why you left us so early but I'm quite sure you will bring the same sense of humor wherever you go. I will miss you!

Curt & I traveled down a road to respect. As opposite as we were, I think we were both pleasantly surprised at how much we appreciated each others views. I agree with everyone else that I have learned a lot from him & will miss him. But one of the things I will always remember is Curt's response to bad music: (in a sarcastic tone) "This is the best music ever composed."
Unique humor; a rare bird.
Peace young man.

Curtis was a DEEP well of knowledge. A memory that always astounded us, remembering all the fine details of...movies, local and ancient history, weather events, actors...the list continues. Always lending a hand where it was needed, and a constant source of his own, unique humor. He is already greatly missed by those who knew him. Sleep well, my friend.

I worked with Curt for a bit and I adored him. He was a stoic guy. A calm force of kindness. I truly am very grateful that I got to know him and I am so sorry to his family, friends and co-workers.
