Dennis A. Dase, a cherished father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on October 16, 1949, Dennis's life was marked by his kindness, handiness, and generosity, traits that endeared him to all who knew him. Dennis's passion for cars was more than just a hobby; it was a way of life. As an active member of the South Jersey Cruisers, he found joy in the roar of engines and the shine of polished chrome. His love for automobiles was only matched by his commitment to his community, particularly local veterans, to whom he dedicated much of his time and resources. He is survived by his loving daughters, Connie Thompson and her husband, William Thompson Jr. and Darlene Dase and her partner, Tommy Jessick, Dennis was a guiding light in their lives, and his legacy of love and laughter will live on through them. His brother, Steve Dase, and uncle, Rodger Dase, along with many nieces, will remember Dennis for his unwavering support and the strength of his character. Dennis was predeceased by his son, Dennis Dase Jr., and his brother, Arthur Dase. His mother, Jenny Dase and father, Allen Dase, also preceded him in death. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and his memories of them were cherished until his final days. Those who knew Dennis will recall a man who could fix almost anything with his hands and who always had time to lend a helping hand. His generosity knew no bounds, and his kind spirit lifted the spirits of those around him.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Wimberg Funeral Home of Egg Harbor City NJ 08215 on March 17, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. A small gathering of friends will be held after the memorial at, 1993 Tuckahoe Road Franklinville NJ 08322.
