Edward N. Oechsle

OECHSLE, EDWARD N., 73 - of Little Egg Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Seacrest Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor. Born and raised, in Philadelphia, served our country in our Armed Forces from 1952 to 1958; later moving to Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton where he was a local resident for 50 years. He was a truck driver for Seashore Produce in Atlantic City, and was active in the MICA Club and Italian American Club both in Little Egg Harbor. He was predeceased by his wife Christine in 1995. He is survived by his sons Joseph Hauser of LEH and fiance Danielle, Nicholas Hauser of LEH and fiance Dia, and John Hauser of LEH and daughters Jennifer Hauser of LEH and fiance Cliff and Jessica Hauser of LEH and fiance Joe, a sister Fern Gibson and her husband Jack of PA, and Anna May Pinker and her husband Harry of Florida. He is also survived, by his grandchildren Kayla, David, John, Joseph, Alyssa, Francesca, and McKenzie. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 4 to 7 pm at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Rd., Little Egg Harbor.
