I grew up with "Dick". Kenny Beck, Dan Jones, John Smith, Dick and I were inseparable in high school. We spent almost every morning at John's house before school drinking instant coffee, smoking Winstons and playing blackjack with our lunch money. In August we all drove to Phila South Street in Danny's old Merc to but school clothes ate Krass Brothers. We worked at the hotels parking cars and making good money. Dick was a great kid, always happy, funny and just a great friend. He put the light on the needle on Central Pier when he was an apprentice. Spoke with him in the summer of 2019 but never able to get together. I will miss Eugene Lamar McCarson. I drove him to his 1st wedding in a borrowed Volkswagen back in the 60's. May he rest in peace. Sorry I cannot get down to pay my respects. Photo Top-Dan Jones, John Smith Bottom-Dick, Kenny Beck. I took the picture. This was at Kenny's house in 1963 or early '64
