Evelyn Whilldin

Whilldin, Evelyn, - 97, of Long Beach Township, passed away on April 5, 2021 at her home. Evelyn was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Upper Darby, PA. She bought her summer home in Long Beach Island in 1957 and retired permanently to Long Beach Township in 1982. Evelyn was a member of the Island Baptist Church. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Whilldin and three brothers, Gustav, Paul and George, she is survived by her nephew, Carl Timm and his wife Kiki. Arrangements and private cremation are under the direction of Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 1119 Long Beach Blvd, Ship Bottom, NJ 08008. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn's memory may be made to the Island Baptist Church, 215 3rd St., Beach Haven, NJ 08008.
