Frances A. "Franny" Ebert, After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Franny passed away on Thursday September 18th, 2025 with her daughter, Frances Ebert and granddaughter, Nicole Austin by her side. Born with a deep love for family, Franny lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and devotion to those around her. Franny also leaves behind a son, Frank Ebert, two grandsons, and a great grandson. She cherished many dear friends whom she considered family. Franny was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, John Ebert. Their bond was one of lasting love and partnership, and the family finds comfort in knowing they are now reunited.
After retiring from the Ocean City School District, she found joy in bus trips, bingo days, and most especially spending time with family. Some of her favorite days were spent going out to breakfast and shopping. She created so many moments filled with laughter and love.
Family and friends are welcomed to attend and celebrate Franny's life. Her viewing will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 1:00 until 3:00pm at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ. A Graveside Service will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.

Franny will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the strength she showed so consistently, and the joy she brought to everyone blessed to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

I knew John and Fran since they lived on 7th and Haven Ave in Ocean City' They often came into my grandmother and mother's deli and sub shop on Asbury Ave. Fran always called me Stevie even as soon as a couple weeks ago when I seen her at Dino' diner in Seville, thing i remember most about John was the Cowboy hat and the Cowboy boots he always wore... They were always kind and friendly, I'm honored to have known them both ....May they reunite in heaven and continue their ever lasting love for each other....God Bless You Both.... You're friend Steve Hahn.... P.S. Say hello to my Mom and Grandmother, Jane and Mabel...
