My Uncle Frank had a special quality. He loved kids and kids loved him. He always had time to listen to you and nothing was ever a problem. He always had a smile on his face and he always brought a smile to your face. When you saw Uncle Frank you knew you were going to get a big hello and a big hug from those big strong arms. He was always positive, no matter what the situation. Uncle Frank never judged you. He accepted you for what you were and that is why kids loved him so much and enjoyed being around him. He made us feel special and he was proud of each of us. I will always cherish my uncle's memory and I will always miss him very much. Thankfully, I have so many fond memories of him which will always bring a smile to my face, whether it was pulling my tooth with a string when I was a kid, or driving me up to college when I got older, or racing me to see who was really the fastest in the family at tying sausage.
Be at peace my dear uncle, until such time that we see each other again in God's presence. Your loving nephew,
Shirley Ward

I am so sorry for the loss of Frank. He was an influence in my life and dedicated to his family and friends. I worked for him from for a bit in 1985 at the Shore Mall resturant but managed to keep in touch throughout the years. He was such a hard worker and made all his food homemade, and believe me it was well worth it. He always had a smile and would take the time to give attention to everyone and every detail of his work. I know that he is in paradise with God and he will always be missed here on Earth until we all meet again. My heartfelt prayers, Shirley Ward and sons William and Patrick Bateson

I knew Mr. Bongiovanni since I was a little girl and attended St. Michael's School with his daughters. My whole family knew Frank and his family. We used to go to the restaurant in the shore mall as I wanted to see my friend Lisa who would be working. During Frank's restless period in life, my mother planned my baby shower at his new restaurant. When my daughter was born I planned her christening affair at the new restaurant and soon to follow we had our son's christening affair there too. Nothing was too much for Frank to do in order to please the customer and friends he acquired. He let my husband and I in the restaurant after closing to decorate for the next day affair for our christening, even though he was tired and ready to go home, he stayed to help us and make sure we were happy. Frank was a great man, gentleman, professional, honest, hard worker, true to his beliefs, and a family man. It was an honor knowing him and he will always be remembered by our family. We are so sorry for your loss, may your memories keep him close to you always.

I will always remember my Poppop (Frank) for the rest of my life. He was there for me from the moment I was born up until he departed this life. He raised me to be the person I am today, and for that I am forever thankful. Although I can no longer talk to him in this physical world or touch him, hug him, kiss him on the cheek (all things I will miss immensely), I can still feel his spirit and love in my heart and in my soul, which I will have until the day I die. Everything he taught me I have under my belt, so he has prepared me for the important milestones in my life.
Have a wonderful everlasting life, Poppop. I hope that I will join you in eternal happiness. Rest in peace and know that you touched the lives of many.
