Frank Off Obituary
June 3, 1928 - May 4, 2025
Frank Scott Off, 96, of Linwood, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born Linwood, NJ he was the loving son of the late George Allen and Roberta (Scott) Off and the devoted husband of the late Evelyn Ann Off. Frank was a graduate of the Friends school in Atlantic City.
Frank bravely served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Frank worked most of his life as a grower of geraniums and orchids and was part owner and operator of Oak View Nurseries in Northfield. Frank was past captain of the Friends Basketball team and was always physically active playing tennis and baseball. He was also an avid water and snow skier, golfer and played squash at the Haddon Hall Squash Club. Frank enjoyed watching stage plays and any of the professional sports teams of Philadelphia. Frank imbodied the positive traits of compassion, generosity, loyalty, honesty, strength and faith. Franks family will always remember him as a devoted family man and a very forgiving Christian, He never spoke a bad word about anyone. They also will remember him as the most giving, humble and authentic person they have ever known.
Frank will be missed and fondly remembered by his children; Roger (Beth Ann) Off, Vicki Ann (Cary) Monroe, Craig Douglas (Debbie) Off, grandchildren; Tiffany, Chelsea, Matthew, Shane, Craig Scott, Bryce, five great-grandchildren and a former daughter-in-law Marcie Off.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Franks Life Celebration Funeral Service on Thursday May 15, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, 228 Infield Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225. A visitation with the family will be held at Jeffries and Keates from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Scullville Bible Church Cemetery, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Franks memory to the ASPCA at ASPCA.org" target="_new" rel="nofollow">www.ASPCA.org, to Journey Hospice at www.journeyhospicenj.org, or to BAYADA at www.bayada.com . My condolences to Roger, Vicki, and Craig. I will always fondly remember how kind your father was and friendly. I was always made to feel welcome at your house and on any shared experiences. Water skiing behind the Chris- Craft boat he owned!! Your dad had that cool GTO!!
