Hernan Garces Obituary
Hernan was born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and came to the United States with his family when he was five years old. He grew up in Atlantic City before moving to Pleasantville, where he attended Pleasantville High School. Last year, Hernan achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a real estate agent.
Hernan was an avid Philly sports fan, and never missed an Eagles game. He was always the life of the party, and was known by everyone for his charm and wit. The only thing bigger than his personality was his huge heart.
He had a daughter, Gabriella, in 2004 who was his "little monkey." Being her father was the greatest joy in Hernan's life. He was happiest when he was surrounded by family. He was a clown and loved to make everyone laugh. None of us could have asked for a better friend, husband, brother, son or father.
Hernan is survived by his parents, Hernan and Amelia; his daughter Gabriella; his wife Elizabeth; his brother Victor and sister Ana; his nephews Eddie ("Lalo") Brian, Christian and Alphonso, and his niece Sofia. He is also a Great Uncle to Ellianna and *almost* to Royce, who is expected in January 2026. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Reggie, sister-in-law Jenna, and cat/best buddy, Dino.
Services will be held Thursday, December 4 at Saint Gianna Beretta Molla Parish in Northfield. Viewing is 11am with mass to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at themmrf.org.

I can only imagine how thoughtful and kind Hernan was. His wife Liz is exactly the same. My heart goes out to Hernan's Beautifully strong Soulmate. She is a sweet and wonderful spouse. We Love you Liz, along with Hernan's daughter, Parents, Siblings and rest of his family. May God Bless you All
