HOWARD WINTERS Obituary
WINTERS, HOWARD SR. 84 - of Atlantic City, departed this life and went home to be with The Lord on May 14th in the Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point. Born in AC to the late Ola Mulkey Winters and William Winters, he attended the local public schools and worked for many years as a Presser at Louis and Cantor and also Penn Brooks Clothing factories. MR. WINTERS worked briefly for BP Fuels and he was lastly employed as a professional Limousine Driver for Dan Garrett Limousine Service. A former Deacon at Macedonia Baptist Church, he was a current Head Deacon at Shiloh Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his fond memories: a loving wife of forty years, Martha Braddy Winters of AC; two daughters, Barbara Jean Jones of Egg Harbor City and Diane Braddy of Brookwyn, PA.; nine sons, Howard, Jr. of Vineland, Leon Winters of Cedartown, Ga., Bartholomew Winters and Timothy Braddy of AC, Perry and Felton Winters (Valerie) of Babylon, NY, Carl Braddy of Pleasantville, Jeffrey Braddy of Dover, DE and John Braddy of Woodlawn, PA.; three sisters, Jeanette Johnson of Hammonton, Marjorie Woodall of Cedartown, GA. and Evelyn Biddle (Donald) of Wilmington, DE and a host of grandchildren, great-grands, neices, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Mon., May 20, 2013, 11am at Shiloh Baptist Church, 640 Phila. Ave., Egg Harbor City. Viewing at church from 9am to 11am.
