James Hodgdon Obituary
Raised in Moorestown, New Jersey, Jim graduated from Moorestown High School in 1973, where he was a standout wrestler and earned a scholarship to the University of Massachusetts.
Jim was a devoted employee at Bally's Park Place Casino for 42 years.
Beyond his career, Jim gave generously of his time as head coach for the Mainland Junior Wrestling program. He found joy in the game of golf, as a proud member of Greate Bay Country Club and on memorable trips to courses including The K Club in Ireland, Whitemarsh Valley, and Palm Aire CC. He was also a lifelong, passionate fan of all Philadelphia sports teams and Penn State.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Kimmie (née Pallastrone); his sons, Eric (Dublin, Ohio) and Ryan (Philadelphia, PA); his siblings, Mark (Sindi), Scott (Maureen), Holly (Dan); and his mother, Nancy (Bill).
He is also remembered with love by many dear family members, including Rudy Pallastrone, Robin Pallastrone, Tracey (Jerry) Meister, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and an enduring circle of lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Life for Jim will be held in the spring of 2026.

Kim and family, So sorry to hear about your loss. I remember golfing with Jim when I first joined Greate Bay, about 15 years ago. Jim gave me a tip for reading the greens and I use it every time I play. "Thank you Jim."
