McKenzie, James A., - 75, of Egg Harbor Township, Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 8, 2021. James was born April 10, 1946 in Dillon, S.C. He was known to his friends and co-workers as Jimmy Mac and was employed as a cook at the Golden Nugget/Hilton Casinos and The Knife and Fork in Atlantic City, N.J. He attended public schools in Dillon, S.C. before he made his way to Atlantic City, N.J. to live out the rest of his life. He is predeceased by his parents Willie McKenzie and Ida Owens and 2 sisters Minnie Leggett and Eloise Faulk 2 brothers Vernon McKenzie and Clinton McKenzie. He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved wife Henrietta C. McKenzie his 4 brothers and 2 sisters 8 children, Victoria (Johnny) McKenzie-Hayes of Dillon, Lesia (Bashir) McKenzie of Atlantic City, Leslie (Kenneth) McKenzie-Capers of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Louis (Bobbie) Taylor of Galloway Township, New Jersey, Marita (David) McKenzie-Parker of Pleasantville, Anthony (Pete) (Sharon) Terry of Chester, Pennsylvania, Adrian Terry of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kelly Taylor of Galloway, 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He will continue to be treasured by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and love ones, and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church located at 829 Tilton Rd. Pleasantville N.J. 08232. Viewing is 9AM to 11AM with a service following immediately after. Interment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Black Horse Pike, E.H.T., N.J. My deepest sympathy to the Family and Friends of James. James was a gentleman , soft spoken , always positive and a smile on his face. He was the best Breakfast Preparation Person I have ever worked with and he did it with ease and a calm demeanor. Our thoughts are with the Family at this difficult time

I'm so sorry for ur loss I worked with Mac at knife & froke, he was good friends of my ex Brian we would all get together at his house and have great times he was a great man hard worker good friend rest in peace brother .
