JOANNE CAROL NECOWITZ

NECOWITZ, JOANNE CAROL - March 9, 1935 â€" July 24, 2011. Born in Binghamton, NY and raised in Philadelphia, Joanne eventually settled in Ventnor City to raise her family. In the early years she ran a successful furniture business. She retired in 2003 from 18 years employment at the Atlantic City Housing Authority and then moved to Southern California. She is predeceased by her son Jeff in 1997. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Ellen and Ron Hunter of Camarillo, CA and her daughter and daughter in law Beth and Lisa Fletcher of Woodland Hills, CA. There are four grandsons, one granddaughter and one great grandson. Her brother Cliff, her sister Della, nine nieces and nephews are in New Jersey and New York and she has an enormous extended family. Joanne's door was always open (for people and animals) and for those of us blessed to have walked through, she is taking all of our love in her soul to her final resting place.
