John Barker Obituary

Barker, John L., - 48, of Smithville, N.J., passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was born in Toms River, N.J., residing in Little Egg Harbor prior to moving to Smithville. John was a self employed painter. He was predeceased by his father John J. Barker. John is survived by his partner Janice Malone, of Smithville, N.J., mother Ruth Edwards and husband James, formerly of Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton area prior to moving to Little River, S.C., sister Debra L. Barker Price and David Kirk, of Barnegat, N.J., and brother James Edwards Jr. and Jennifer, of Manchester, N.J., along with two nieces and 2 nephews. Family and friends may gather Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 6-9 PM, with a Memorial Service at 8:30 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. Ruth so sorry to hear of John's death. Seems like just yesterday we were both carrying these little bundles at the same time, and delivered on the same day. Will never forget him on his birthday. 6/25/73.May GOD bless him and yours. Much love sent our way. Betty
