John F. Nash III

May 8, 1970 - November 17, 2025

John F. Nash III, 55, of Somers Point, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 17th, after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home. Born May 8, 1970, in Atlantic City, NJ, he grew up in Ventnor, and graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1989. He loved his time spent as a lifeguard on the Margate beaches. After many years as a lifeguard, he found his true calling as a carpenter. John was a devoted husband of 32 years to Raina and a loving father to Kaitlyn (fiancé Ian Gaskill). John is survived by his father John F. Nash Jr, his sisters; Margi Klapatch (Joe), Geri Nash, Jennifer Nash, and Colleen Campo (Mike), his brother in law Neil Wannen Jr. and Dale Wannen (Lauri), his sister in law CeeCee Carmichael (Bryan), along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Nash. A service to honor his life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, with visitation beginning at 2 pm and a brief service to start at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Full obituary can be found at ghwimberg.com
