John and I were the first two carpenter apprentices to compete in the first apprentice contest. John, 9 years my junior beat out the "old guy" to represent New Jersey in Colorado. John finished second in the country that year 1968. Found memories of working with a true gentleman. God Bless.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. I have not work with John since the late 80's but to this very day some of his teachings are utilized each and everyday. John was a boss, mentor and a good friend, he is missed but will never be forgotten. He will always live on in our hearts.

I met JOHN/DOROTHEA years ago...when I was a medical receptionist at Dr. Manzi's Chiropractor Office. They were the sweetest people! JOHN had a great sense of humor, always had a smile on his face and a friendly greeting for everyone (even when he was in pain). I always looked forward to seeing both HIM/HIS LOVELY WIFE when they came into the office. I was expecting my third child at the time ~ and they always asked how I was doing, would bring me snacks, and gave me a beautiful sweater set for my baby. Just genuine, down-to-earth, caring people. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO DOROTHEA, LOUANN, AND THE REST OF JOHN'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
