Joseph P. Cigala

CIGALA, JOSEPH P., 70 - of Buena Boro, passed away on Monday afternoon, after being seriously ill for the past two months. Joe was born in Atlantic City and had resided in Buena for the past 41 years. Joe was a 1954 graduate of Holy Spirit High School. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Eustis, VA. He retired in 1998 with 21 years of service from the Buena Regional School District where he was employed as a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of the Queen of Angels Parish, Buena Boro. He is survived by his wife of 41 years. Helen (nee Mottola); one son and daughter in law: Paul J. and Diane Cigala; two grandchildren, Kathleen Nicole and Paul Timothy Cigala, all of Buena; one sister, Mary Cigala, Absecon; sister-in-law, Rosalie and husband Richard Baker, Buena. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Morris and Josephine Cigala, and granddaughter Kimberly Diane Cigala. His funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday in the Queen of Angels Parish, Church of Our Lady of Victories, 202 N.W. Blvd., Landisville, with burial to follow in the Our Lady of Victories R.C. Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland.
