September 28, 1949 - December 4, 2025
Joseph Fitzpatrick, age 76, of Galloway passed away at home on December 4, 2025 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Joseph grew up in Collingswood, N.J. He graduated from Collingswood High School Class of '67. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a Union Carpenter Local 393. He was a lifetime member of Absecon VFW 9462 and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved bird watching. He enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. Joseph is survived by his wife, Janet Fitzpatrick; his daughter, Jennifer Fitzpatrick; son, James Fitzpatrick; stepdaughter, Jeanette Parker; stepson, Brian Parker, and his grandchildren, Giliana and Tristan Street. He is also survived by his brother, James Fitzpatrick, and sister, Theresa Fitzpatrick; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Joseph is predeceased by his wife, Deborah Fitpatrick; his mother, Mary Fitzpatrick, and father, Jerome Fitzpatrick. A gathering will be held on Friday, December 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service to follow at 1 p.m. at the Wimberg Funeral Home- 211 E. Great Creek Rd., Galloway NJ 08205.
