Truly an inspiration. Pop Pop Joe always had a smile on his face no matter what he was going thru. That's what I will always remember about him.

Words will never express this beautiful person who accepted us as friends. Our happiest of memories being with Joe and Esther, whether dining, on the beach, playing with all the children, or traveling, will never be forgotten. Celebrating New Year's with the crowd, and the endless jokes. What a story teller. The loss right now is overwhelming but in his honor we will go forward, because he insisted that we all do,
but, with a little more weight on our shoulders. Hope and I thank you for heroism in WWII, your honesty and opinions, and your love. Miss you.
