To the Wilkins family,
We're still in shock! As most of us are. To know Kevin was to love him. He had a since of ease. He made you laugh even if you didn't want to. To sit back and express the grief that all of us feel right now is unbearably. Only God knows our time. That's why it's important to live life to the fullest. That you did, lived and loved everything and everyone. Those were the days the boys and girls club and holding drew down. Our sympathy goes out to the family. Know that Kev will live long in paradise.Always loved, but never forgotten.

To the Wilkins Family,
I would like to send my condolences & express my deepest sympathy. Words cannot express how heartbroken i felt to learn of this untimely passing. I pray that the creator will strengthen & guide you through this difficult time. Although not many words can ease the feeling of a lose, i hope you find some comfort in knowing that others care & your UNFORGETTABLE loved-one is at peace. It was a pleasure to encounter an individual with such a beautiful spirit. We will always treasure his precious memories.

To Nicole & Family...I pray to Allah(swt) for comfort and healing to each of you...I lost my husband 5 months ago, different circumstances but the HURT IS THE SAME! I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH...my family & myself are still at a place of grieving but I lean on ALLAH to help us every minute of the day...I am here for you, if you EVER need a shoulder. Please continue to lean on yor faith and trust me the days will begin to become easier in time.

To the Wilkins family and the Atlantic City Police Department. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Coming from a family with a long history of law enforcement when an officer loses their life in the line of duty it effects the whole law enforcement community. It is a sad day. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Officer Wilkins' family, friends, fiance and fellow officers. Officers Wilkins was met at the gates of Heaven as a hero by Our Savior Jesus Christ. Officer Kevin Wilkins, wow!! I had no ideal. That happens when you do not keep in contact with friends & family. My sincere condolences to the entire Wilkins family whom I have had the the pleasure of knowing for more than 35 years. Mrs. Kathleen, Ronald, Kathy, Sylvester, Nicole, children, cousins, nieces & nephews. I am so sorry for your lost. Rest in peace Kevin you are know in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Nichole, Nastajia, Jason, Tori, and the rest of the Wilkins family, I offer my deepest condolences to you! I remember meeting Kevin at Atlantic City High during basketball season - we both wore #42! Kevin was always a kind and caring individual who prided himself on helping others. Nichole, hold in your heart the love and memories that you created and know that even though he is physically gone from here, his spirit will live with you forever. Just know that God makes no mistakes and even though we all don't understand what has happened, God had bigger plans for Kevin. I will continue to pray for you, the kids and the rest of the family. Hold on to God in these times because he won't let you down.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
