Blocker, Lamont, - 56, of Springfield, Ohio We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Lamont (Roc C). Son of the late Frederick Blocker Sr. and Beverly Wilson was born May 28, 1966 and passed at age 56 on December 23rd, 2022. Born in Pleasantville, NJ, Lamont was a avid music lover and loved spending time cooking. He was a self-made handyman and could figure out how to take apart and put things back together easily. His long term memory was astutely admired by his family. He could remember at a drop of a dime everywhere and everyone he came in contact with during his earthly time. Lamont will be missed greatly by his sister whom he called "Twin" deeply. Lamont leaves two children, daughter, Shaone (Tyrus) Bush and son, Koleman Lamont Blocker, Mother, Beverly Ann, sister Tanya (Hugh) Taylor-Givens and Sister-in-law, Cheryl Graves-Blocker, special brothers Ronald Lewis, Mark Johnson and many other family and friends. Lamont was predeceased by his father Frederick, two siblings, sister, Elisa Blocker-Morton and brother, Frederick Blocker Jr., brother-in-law Eric Taylor Sr., paternal grandparents, Celeste and Estella Blocker and maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Ida Wilson. The funeral will be a private ceremony in Springfield, Ohio on December 29th, with only immediate family members present. Final resting place will be in the same city at Ferncliff Cemetery.
