Dear Marc & Ellen:
So sorry I could not be at the funeral Sunday. Due to the Memorial Weekend the traffic was horrible for traveling. My husband could not drive me. He has had a terrible eye problem with another two surgeries looming in a week.
Lenore was always very sweet and kind to me. She and I spoke often on the phone and partically when my Dad was very ill. She was a giving, loving, generous person. She was a wonderful wife to my Dad and he always bragged about how intelligent Lenore is and she could win on Jeporady. He said she was a "GOOD GIRL." They loved playing scrabble late at night together and watching TV in bed. He enjoyed her company as did all of us. On many occassions I came to parties at their home and the hospitality and graciousness of Lenore was evident. She always made you feel welcome and important. She was a special person -- one we will miss always.
I have faith that she is in God's Memory and will have an opportunity to live again on a Paradise earth.
Please know my heart is with you all on this very trying and sad time. Due forgive me for not being there I may not be there physically but I am there emotionally.
Love Always,
Carolynn Snyder Brown ( Darrell sends his heartfelt prayers to all too!!).
