Luis Diaz-Colon Obituary

DIAZ-COLON, LUIS ANTONIO, 68 - of Hammonton, died Saturday in Jefferson Hospital. Born in Arecibo, PR he lived in the South Jersey area for over 50 years. He retired from Eastern Brewery as the Head Plant Mechanic. Mr. Diaz-Colon also worked at Palmieri's Farm; Whitehall Laboratories and Virtua Hospital in Marlton. He is survived by his wife: Justina (nee Cruz) Diaz; four daughters: Lucy Diaz, Marisol Diaz; Maria Theresa Diaz all of Hammonton; Madeline Diaz of Chesilhurst; four brothers; Rupberto Diaz; William Diaz; Juan Diaz; Antonio Diaz all of Puerto Rico; two stepbrothers; George Reyes of Alaska; Miguel Reyes of CA; two stepsisters; Elba Reyes and Elisa Reyes both of CA; three grandchildren: Luis A. Diaz; Christopher Ricca; Izaiah X. Goode; and his father in law; Ramon Soto-Montalvo of Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 am at St. Joseph's RC Church, N. Third St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Friday evening 7:00 pm-9:00 pm and again on Saturday morning 9:00 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
