My deepest condolences and prayer to Liz and family. Dr. Romero was loved more than he knew. I worked side by side with him. He was a gentleman, he was kind to everyone, compassionate and caring especially to his patients. As a cardiologist he was ethical. He was such a gentleman that inspite of his physical limitations due to his medical illness, he would still open the door for me when we were rounding in the hospital and pull the chair for me when we had lunch break in the cafeteria. He would always pay for my lunch. These are some of my personal memories of Dr. Romero. He touched a lot of lives. He fought a good fight. My heart ached that I missed his funeral since I´m out of town but he will be in prayer and mass intentions. He will be forever in our hearts. May our loving and merciful Lord grant him kind admittance to heaven. We love you Dr. Romero.

My sincere condolences to Liz and family. Luis was a wonderful doctor but more importantly was a sweet and kind man who loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed but wonderful memories will forever be carried in the hearts of those he touched.
