Marilyn Jane Brown

Brown, Marilyn Jane, - 93, of Galloway, passed away on Monday, May 30,2022. She was a lifelong resident of South Jersey, born in Pleasantville, NJ. Marilyn was raised in Galloway and resided there on her family's estate for the rest of her life. Marilyn graduated from Pleasantville High School where she was a varsity cheerleader. She enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycle riding, dog showing and birdwatching. She most especially had a passion for her family. She is predeceased by her husband W. Spence Brown Jr, her parents, F. James and Harriet Hitchen, and brother Robert. Marilyn is survived by her five children Warren (Linda), Patti Higgins (Tom), Lyn Burnisky (Gary), E. Mitchell (Barbara) and Christopher (Lisa); ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A life celebration will be held at Port Church on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 4:00 PM.
