Martin N. Balzer Sr.

BALZER, SR., MARTIN N., 71 - formerly of Cape May, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 2, 2005 at his home in Delray Beach, FL, surrounded by his wife, daughter, granddaughter, all of his brothers and many family members. He went very peacefully after many years of suffering, yet never once complaining. His sense of humor and his caring, gentle heart will be with us forever. He was one of a kind. Marty loved everyone he came in contact with, and all who knew Marty loved him. Beloved husband of Pat Balzer for 51 years, predeceased by a son, Martin N. Balzer, Jr., survived by a cherished daughter, Patricia (Roy) Geiger of Margate, FL, granddaughter, Christina Fawn (my baby) Balzer of Cape May; mother-in-law, Helen (Mom Mom) Mullen of Delray Beach, FL; Survived by brothers, Peter (Mamie) Balzer of Margate, FL; Buddy (Yong) Heisler of Haymarket, VA; William (Debra) Gager of North Cape May; sister, Amber (Rick) Bullock of Apache Junction, AZ; sister-in-law, Kathleen (Jack, deceased) of Philadelphia, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great cousins, and an abundance of friends. Services were held on September 5, 2005. A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated on Tuesday, September 6 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Mission, Delray Beach followed by interment in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, N. Lauderdale, FL.
