Ripley, Martin Ronald, - 67, of Mays Landing, Martin grew up in Mays Landing. He spent many Saturdays rabbit hunting with his father and brothers. He enjoyed duck hunting with his good friend Richard Hendrickson. He took his daughter on many fishing and crabbing adventures out on the Great Egg Harbor River. Martin was known for his famous steamed crab recipe and the many parties at the "Ripley Lot" on the river. Martin worked as a mechanic at Spoony's Marina, a machinist at Wheaton Injection Molding and then retired from Big Three in Millville. Martin dedicated many years as a volunteer firefighter for the Mays Landing Fire Department. He was always remembered for the fun parties and barbecues, where he would definitely make you laugh with one of his one liners or jokes. He was the "Inspector Gadget" in the family, always there to fix anything for anyone. He is preceded by his mother Eileen Ripley, father Elmer Ripley, sister Sheryl Richardson and survived by daughter Dana Ripley and her husband Erik Gallion, his grandchildren Kole and Kameron, siblings Robert Ripley (Amanda), Virginia Kisby (Edgar), Eileen Mason (Michael), Tim Ripley (Alicia), nieces and nephews Jami, Jeremy, Bobby, Ryan, Lindsey, Cheyne, Scott, Mike, Kate, Timmy, Aaron, Jenn, Heather, Jason, Brittany and Ryan. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 28th at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ from 4pm to 6pm, where Reflections will be held at 6pm.
