NORMAN E. GREEN

GREEN, NORMAN E. - of Margate, passed away on July 12, 2012 at the age of 78, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and resided in Margate for the last 45 years. Norman was a successful businessman who started, owned and operated the Master Distributorship of ServiceMaster of South Jersey and ServiceMaster PBM a commercial and residential cleaning franchise. He was also a partner with his sons at PBM Distributors, Inc., a janitorial supply company in Atlantic City. Norman retired in 1994 and continued life enjoying his life-long passion of fishing and boating with his family and friends. He was a member of Temple Emeth Shalom, Margate, the Absecon Power Squadron, and served for many years as President of the Margate Little League Association. Norman will be fondly remembered as "Stormin' Norman, the Great Googamooga!" He will be forever loved and greatly missed by his devoted wife of 56 years Anna Green, his children Robert Bank (Anita), Allen Bank, Ricky Green, Steven Green and Jean Green Federici (Carl), nine grandchildren, Michael, Richard, Stephanie, Billy, Jessica, Lauren, Connor, Simone and Nicholas, and 10 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services Tuesday, July 17th, 10am, at Temple Emeth Shalom, 8501 Ventnor Ave, Margate, NJ, followed by interment at Montefiore Cemetery in Jenkintown PA.
