Patricia Ann "Pat" Flickinger, 60, of Milan, Ill., died Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Funeral services will start at 10 a.m. at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Reverend Paul Pett will officiate. Burial will be in the Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
Mrs. Flickinger was born July 8, 1943, to Fred and Helen (Orth) Eacker in Lanark, Ill. She married Fred Flickinger on Dec. 29, 1963, in Mount Carroll, Ill. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Milan. Pat loved her grandchildren and enjoyed her early morning walks.
Survivors (and spouses) include her husband; mother, Lena, Ill.; sons, David (Melanie), Coyne Center, and Darrell, Milan; sister, Sharon (Jerry) Fox, Lena; two brothers, Clarence (Lorena) Eacker, Lena, and Marvin (Patti) Eacker, Thompson, Ill.; two grandchildren, Lilah and Wyatt; mother-in-law, Ruth Flickinger, Cape Coral, Fla.; and brother-in-law, Steve Flickinger, Laporte, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her father.
