PATRICIA STROCKBINE Obituary
STROCKBINE, PATRICIA 64 - of Atlantic City, went home to be with the lord on May 6, 2010 at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. She was born in Atlantic City in 1948 to Mr. Theodore and Lula Moore. She attended the Atlantic City School system where she graduated. She formerly worked at The Bus terminal in AC, Resorts Casino, Walmart and Wheels Inc. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Richard Strockbine, her companion Walter Hayward "Baqi". She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Jacqueline Richardson Trusty. Two sons; Bilal Salaam, Sr (Lisa) Che R. Burch (Joya) twelve grandchildren; Bilal, Jr, Paige, Jeff, Shaylisa, Shayon Oatman, Che-lena, Ibin-Che, Zariel Alexa Burch. Ronald (Ann), Ramar, Jeremy Trusty, Jeorgianna Crouch. A host of great-grandchildren. A sister Lois Harris, a host of cousins and special cousin Gail Sanders. Dear Bilal and Che,
My heart was saddened when I read of Pat's passing. Wow, it's seems like just yesterday that we were in Carver Hall and I was babysitting Bilal. Then I remember that I watched Che at Atlantic Gardens. Pat was like an older sister to me and I will always treasure the times I spent with her growing up. May God comfort you and keep you in your time of need. Love you both.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my dear cousin. Pat was the daughter of my favorite Aunt, my Father's sister. May we all take comfort in the knowledge that our loved one now rests in peace. May God bless our family.

To Jackie, Bilal, Che, Lois and Family, I'm so, so, sorry to hear of your loss Trish was just like a big sister to me and I'll truly miss her. I wish that I could be there for you, but I just Buried my mom last week. You arei n my thoughts and prayers. Your mom taught me a lot. We had wonderful and beautiful times together. May GOD continuously watch over and bless all of you. Her memories will always be cherished. I love you TRISH all tha daze, al tha daze.

To Sha and family, My heart goes out to you all. I have been knowing Mrs. Pat since I was a young girl. She always had encouraging words for me. I will miss our long talks about our boys. My Condolences to the Strockbine - Richardson family at this sorrowful time. When I say Ms. pat was like a mother to me. These words could never been more true. Rodney and I were raised together from the beginning, (our B-days are like two weeks apart) Our mothers were the best of friends. I can remember like it was yesterday when Che was born. My Heart can not express The sorrow I feel right now. just know that Allah makes no mistakes, and we should feel blessed & honored that he allowed us to share this time with one of his Angels. I know she will prepare a place for us when our time comes, because that's what mothers do. They prepare us for life, as well as death.
