PAUL STRING Obituary
STRING, PAUL R. 72 - of Linwood, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Paul was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was employed for over 25 years at the Atlantic City Electric Company. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Reserves. Paul was the beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Nancy String, Paula Hamilton (Spencer) and Jill Tiemann (Michael). He was the proud and devoted pop-pop to the joys of his life Clay and Jack Tiemann. Paul is also survived by his sister Barbara Coccozza, many nieces and nephews and his loyal companion, his Westie Ralph. He is predeceased by his brothers Charles, George and Irv. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration and viewing Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 from 11 to 12 at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, 228 Infield Ave., Northfield. Funeral service will follow at Noon at the funeral home. Interment Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona. I'm so sorry to read of Paul's passing ! I remember him from our days at PHS and Irv and I were '54 classmates. May your warm memories comfort you in the days and years ahead until your Grand Reunion. Paul is very much at peace now.

I am so very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I only just learned of this today, and I share my dad's (Charlie D.) sentiments...I also enjoyed Paul's random stops by my dad's house. It was only through these visits that I had the opportunity of getting to know him and he would even bring treats for Harley (the dog) too! He will be greatly missed by many. May you find comfort knowing he is at peace.

Mrs. String and family, Nancy/sunshine, Paula/rainbow, Jill/puddin. So sorry for your loss. I was unable to attend due to work. i remember soot/Paul always joking around and late night pizza from baltimore grill. Its been a long time since i saw most of you. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Nancy and girls,
We send you our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your husband and father.
Although our visits to our cousins in New Jersey were sometimes yearly sometimes longer apart, we always enjoyed Paul's stories told with both humor and wit. One was something about a radio treasure hunt if my memory serves me correctly.
